Leave everything closed for smart defaults. Open only the parts you care about.
Metadata
OpenYou can still edit name, image, and royalty later. This is what Metaplex's own tooling recommends by default.
Locked foreverAvailable after every NFT has minted and received its permanent number. Use the collection royalty page to lock the completed collection.
Creator splits can be added after the core launch flow is connected.
All five reveal types use the same underlying mechanism (a collection-level Data Delegate), confirmed working on devnet.
Instant revealCollectors receive the final media and metadata immediately.
Creator-ControlledMints hidden behind placeholder art. You trigger the real reveal yourself, whenever you're ready, from Manage Collection.
ScheduledMints hidden until a date/time you set. Reveals automatically — no button to press.

Holder status and supply determine whether delayed reveal needs a RELAX burn.
Creator-Controlled reveal needs editable metadata until every NFT shows its final artwork. Collections start Open; the final lock is available in Collection Tools after minting finishes or is permanently closed and every permanent number is ready.
🛡️ Hidden final content is retained for 1000 days from manifest commit. A 100-day rescue warning begins on day 900. RELAX starts automatic final reveal 60 days before the storage lease expires; completion still requires available storage, funding and network access. If automatic finalization cannot finish, the current public stage can stay visible, but hidden final files may become unrecoverable after expiry.
Optional — leave blank for no minimum (reveal any time). This is a self-imposed lock, separate from the safety auto-reveal date above.
Comma-separated, one per stage transition, e.g. "7, 5". Leave blank for no cooldown. If fewer numbers than stages, the last one repeats.
